Presentation at Normandy

I had the priviledge of giving a presentation of my book, RUM RUN at Normandy Senior Living in Rocky River. Their book club is switching to Nook e-readers and chose my book for their first book to download on the new Nooks. What an honor that is. They invited me to give a talk to introduce my book, and I brought displays and photographs from the late 1920's to share with them. What a great audience. And full of information themselves as many lived in or close to those times. I had a blast, and I hope they did as well. I will be returning next month after they have read the book so we can have a casual discussion about it and the era. Thank you Jen, Kelly and club.

More launch news

The launch was fantastic as it allowed me the opportunity to connect with a lot of great people. One guest had a brother who was a rum runner, another bought books for her book club and asked me to speak at their meeting, some brought me flowers and another verified there was truly a secret tunnel (though not as big) as described in my book used by rum runners. My town's writers' club was there to support me and that meant a lot. They are a great group. One of them made a fantastic YouTube video of the event that just blew my mind. Check it out at my News and Events page. BIG THANK YOU Brices Mice.

Porrello at Book Launch

I was blown away by all the wonderful people who attended my book launch but seeing author Rick Porrello and his wife walk in was a huge surprise. They brought me a bouquet of flowers. Rick has been a big support, and his wife bought a copy of Rum Run for their public library. Thank you for coming and for your support.
