Tugboat photos

Friends Bill and Bonnie C. sent me a link to some awesome tugboat photos from the Cleveland area. Many of these tugs were built in 1904-1930s and are still in use. The Great Lakes towing company is mentioned in my book, and these tugs are like the ones my characters worked on in Rum Run.

They are real beauties, and I was sad to read some are/were going to be scrapped and glad many, like the Ohio are being refitted. Wish I had the money to buy one doomed for scrap and fix it up for personal use. This photograph of the Rhode Island I took in 2010 is just like the ones I am talking about . A fine looking boat.
